Overview – Sunday 25th of November – 9am-3pm
Schedule for the day
9 am – Welcome arrival at the farm. If already staying overnight at the farm we will be leaving at 9 am to head up to the start of the walk which is a 40mins drive from the farm. Depending on the size of the group transport may be included.
9:40 am – Begin by walking in silence until a designated spot
10 am – Stop for a mini meditation and continue on with our walking meditation.
11.30am – Arrive at the waterhole, time for lunch and if you would like a swim. Here we will spend half the time in silence.
1 pm – Begin to walk back. Part of this walk will be in silence and for the other part, you will be given a walking meditation practice.
We will aim to be back at the farm around 3 pm.
This is a pretty famous walk in the Wollemi national park and a personal favourite of mine.
It is only 6kms which is relatively easy on the way there as it is all downhill but more challenging on the way up (all uphill – especially if it’s a hot day).
You can read more about it here: http://bushwalkingnsw.com/walk.php?nid=239
Please bring a small backpack including drinking water, sunscreen and a hat. Swimmers and towel if you are planning to swim.
Includes:
- Transportation to and from Kurrajong to Walk ( depending on group size)
- Guided meditation instructions
- Lunch to have at the swimming hole
$55.00 / per person
