🧗‍♀️ Getting back on the wall after a hiatus. 🍁 It’s been a while since I’ve been out climbing, recovering from pushing my nervous system too hard on tougher routes in the past. But I’ve always cherished our days at the crag. I love the walk ins, the way you move your body in such different ways, the deeper connection you feel with the elements as you climb and the new perspective you gain when getting to the top. Not to mention just time immersed in nature with my love - my own personal mountain guide, having the patience to take me on the nice easy climbs to ease me back into it. Despite the easier grades, I can already feel muscles I haven’t used in a while. Tomorrow might be a challenge, but today reminded me of the value in embracing discomfort—it really can build resilience and strength when you’re ready.

These works are really tricky to photograph, hence

These works are really tricky to photograph, hence why so many images. But I do love that about them, in the sense that they look so different depending on the light and angle you look at them.
.
This particular unique shape holds within it the foundational geometric shapes that lie within sacred geometry, essential my favourites which are the vesica piscis - which is about creation itself. The triangle symbolising dynamic movement, elevating us to Higher Consciousness but with it pointing downward representing femininity & awakening the goddess. And lastly the square a symbol for the form and matter while all embraced in a circle representing wholeness, oneness, completeness - nothing lacking at the same time while the dance of creation is played out.

I am enjoy dancing with these pieces.

So my fascination for Sacred Geometry has been aro

So my fascination for Sacred Geometry has been around for a while. Recently I found some really old artworks containing sacred geometry within them. So it’s no surprise it has started to resurface again.
.
This time really ignited by a quote I heard which described how sacred geometry really expresses “The infinite can be embodied in a finite form” And I have been marvelling at this concept and experience when creating these works. Again a mirror to my meditation practice.
.
As I learn’t more about sacred geometry and continue to do so, I am blown away by this art - what they even refer to as the “architecture of the universe”. Which is found throughout the natural world
Sacred geometric patterns exist all around us, creating the fundamental structure and templates of life in the universe.
.
While this exploration is still in it’s infancy I loved the effect of playing with natural inks to create the playing field for this creation and the metallics pointing to the sacredness that lies within and around.

So excited to have my first #naturalpigment watercolour set that I’ve made entirely from scratch as a process to connect deeper with nature and her stunning colours and processes! Am so in love with them - even though they probably don’t look that special but it’s been a pretty special process and can’t wait to now be able to use them when I’m immersed in nature! Hoping to deepen that connection even more! Deep gratitude to Mother Earth! 🙏🙏🙏
